A Peek Inside | Evereve Opens At Saddle Creek!

Evereve, a contemporary, curated boutique for on-trend fashion that complements women’s busy lifestyles is finally open in Saddle Creek and all we can say is WOW!

A gorgeously designed, light-filled store, Evereve views itself as a national boutique. In business since 2004, you’ll find a ton of amazing, nationally-known brands in-store like Paige Denim and AGOLDE Denim, but their focus is on providing customers with the best service, similarly to what you’d experience with a boutique.

The day that I visited, I met their Store Manager Terrance Dye, who has his own thorough background in fashion, modeling and retail, so he brings over 20 years of experience to the new location (he’s also the first male Store Manager to open a new store!).

When you walk in you can immediately feel an excited energy from the stylists, so you know that they really love what they do.

Tap Into Neutrals with Fabletics

Now that Fabletics is open in The Shops of Saddle Creek, you have more stylish options to choose from when it comes to your active wear.

Fabletics is known for their Subscription/Membership Program, but now customers can find fits in person. Their new Women’s Animal Print Collection features both leopard and creamy neutral styles that can be mixed and matched together to create a ton of fun, stylish looks. Leopard will always be a neutral in my book, so don’t be afraid to add them in!

While their men’s collection isn’t as “wild” it’s still filled with must-have shorts, tees, tanks, and other accessories.

Fabletics‘ premium styles fuse the latest advances in performance technology with an on-trend fashion-for ward look, so whether you’re ready to walk on the side with your active wear style or keep it super casual and neutral, you’ll always be able to find something in store (they are size inclusive and go up to a 4x for women and 2x for men).

BONUS: Our Fabletics location has a “spooky” (and FREE) event coming up this month! Join them (in costume) on Sunday the 16th from 11AM – 12PM for a special, spooky October themed yoga event featuring the fabulous yoga instructor Katy Stanfield. Madewell Men’s Is At Saddle Creek!

Fellas, rejoice! Madewell Men’s is finally available at The Shops of Saddle Creek, and here’s everything you need to know.

A spin-off of J. Crew, Madewell is an icon denim brand that offers stylish apparel, plus accessories, shoes & bags. In business since 2006, The Shops of Saddle Creek’s location opened in 2013. Denim is at the core of the brand, and now that the Men’s collection has officially launched, it’s so much easier to find denim and those easy, lived-in pieces for everyone.

They offer Premium Denim in 6 different fits.
Whether you’re into medium or dark washes, love a skinny or prefer a more relaxed fit, there’s something available at Madewell Men’s for everyone. While tees, button ups and hoodies are available, the bulk of the Saddle Creek location’s men’s collection is denim.

With a new season approaching, it’s the perfect time to do a fit session to find your best style. They currently offer the following fits in various washes: Slim, Athletic Slim, Taper, Relaxed, Skinny and Straight.

Multiple sizes are available in their store.
Currently, they offer sizes 28W-40W in their denim, with inseams available in 30, 32 and 34. Online, they have extended sizes in XXXL & 40W-44W.

Shoes and accessories are available as well.
While their collection of shoes and accessories isn’t as vast their women’s section, they do have a few options available.

You can find sunglasses, sneakers and hats, and many of the scarves that are in store are unisex in style as well.

Summer Essentials with Madewell

While everyone has their own personal style, there are still pieces that people will stock their wardrobe with and reach for every season. Summer is known for its easy, breezy classics, and Madewell is a great place to find pieces that are classic, yet still on trend for the season.

We have a few more weeks of Summer remaining, so if you’re in need of a few wardrobe refreshers, here are a few Summer essentials that you should consider picking up from Madewell.

Dresses
Keeping cool during the Summer is a MUST, so obviously dresses should be on your wardrobe list. Because we are in a transitional period, however, I’d advise picking out dresses in darker prints, neutrals and more muted tones vs. super bright colors so that you can easily transition them into the Fall. Pair now with your favorite sandals, then switch over to ankle booties and layer a white or denim jacket over it.

Flare Denim
While flare denim is usually reserved for Fall outfits, now’s the perfect time to add a pair to your wardrobe. Pair them with an easy, retro style tee and sandals for now, and then swap those out for booties and a flowy, boho style blouse.

Leather handbags
In addition to jewelry, find a fun, leather handbag that you can wear everyday. Cognac and beige are great neutrals, but don’t be afraid to try a fun color as well.

White Denim
White denim that fits great, has a little bit of stretch without being tight and is not too thin is hard to find, but Madewell’s Perfect Vintage Jean is amazing. The premium denim also has a tapered leg, which makes it a perfect length for both flats and heels. Paired with a laidback, popover blouse in a punchy color is Summertime perfection.

Denim Shorts
You can’t go wrong with a pair of denim shorts in a classic light or medium wash. These will be shorts that you live in and can pair with just about anything.

There’s so much that you can still add to your wardrobe this Summer, and Madewell has you covered with the classics!

Summer Capsule Wardrobe with J. Jill

Warmer temps are here, which means it’s time to get your Summer wardrobe together! How do we do this? By investing in a handful of foundational pieces that you can mix and match together with other pieces that you already own in your closet.

Building a capsule wardrobe (vs. just buying a ton of new clothes) will allow you to have pieces that you can throw on at any time throughout the season, so you will always feel chic and put together. J. Jill is known for their versatile pieces, so if you’re ready to make a Summer Capsule Wardrobe, here are a few pieces that I’d recommend.

Gauzy Button-Up Tunic
One can never have too many button-ups, and the textured gauzy feel of this button up makes it perfect for Summer. Wear with your favorite denim (a white cropped white pair is a must!), or make it do double-duty as a cover-up for the beach.

Cropped Denim
Jeans have always been a Summer staple, and it’s something that won’t ever change! You can wear them almost everywhere, so it’s best to find a pair that’s comfy but still flattering, that works with both heels and flats, and are a medium wash. Pair with cute blouses, or a linen dolman tee and patterned kimono for a look that can take you from brunch to a night out with friends.

A-Line Shirt Dress
Having a go-to dress that you can easily dress up or down is a must-have for Summer, and this super soft shirt dress is perfect for that. The collar gives it structure, and the button-hem detail makes it different from the rest. Bonus? It has pockets!

Maxi Skirt
Not really into jeans or shorts? Try a maxi skirt instead. They will still offer a lot of versatility in styling, but will also keep things comfy as well. Our favorite way to style is with a matching blouse (if available); just add a cool belt to help break things up!

When building your capsule wardrobe, think about the color palette that you want to work with so that you can invest in pieces that work really well together. It will make getting dressed so much easier!

Trend To Try | Summer Blazers with Madewell

Looking for a laidback, more relaxed Summer style vibe that’s a step above your favorite tee and jeans? Try topping your next look with a Summer Blazer. Blazers are a wardrobe staple for most people, but for Summer, the must-have styles are slightly oversized and in a lightweight fabrications like cotton and linen. While they can most certainly be worn to work, this isn’t a stuffy, corporate style blazer.

Madewell is known for its effortless aesthetic, so it only makes sense that they’d create a blazer that works perfectly for all of your Summer looks. Pretty Neutrals | Must-Have Pieces From Banana Republic

While many people start to gravitate towards more colorful pieces for Spring, some still prefer to walk on the more neutral side. Neutral doesn’t have to equal boring, however, and right now Banana Republic has in some key pieces that can both refresh and elevate any wardrobe, regardless of personal style. The shade range is a little more tonal and fun (think safari chic), so they will pair well with the pieces that you already own.

Ready to shop? Here are some of the must-have pieces from Banana Republic’s Spring collection.

The Silk Maxi Slip Dress
Crafted from glossy silk charmeuse, this (washable) slip dress is luxury at its best as it is cut on the bias to give it stunning drape.

Spring Finds in Anthropologie

Anthropologie is one of my favorite stores to visit for both style and home decor inspiration. I love the way that they play with patterns, prints, and textures, and Spring might be my favorite season for their new arrivals.

The colors throughout the store are both vibrant and muted; we all know that orange is a popular color for Spring, however, they will also have soft shades of peach and creamsicle mixed throughout, so you have more options to choose from (which can be both good and bad for your wallet). With Spring being a few weeks away, I popped in recently to see what was new, and I immediately got a burst of excitement when I walked through the door.

Hello Spring! As soon as you step inside, their display styling instantly brings to mind the fun, whimsical feeling of Spring.

Maxi prairie style dresses are still a hot trend right now, and this ditsy floral print is such a statement piece. If it feels like too much, you can easily tone it down with a light wash denim jacket.

This could make for both a fun cocktail dress or afternoon brunch outfit based around how you style it.

I’ll take one of each please! Obsessed with these little satchel handbags. The leather looks buttery and I love the creaminess of the colors. The peach shade might be my fave.

Patterned cardigans and kimonos are my favorite third pieces to pair with denim right now.

Softer washes of color are a sweet way to ease into Spring style. I would live in this pastel button up with linen joggers.

Casually cool outfits with relaxed trousers and paisley print or textured blouses are essentials.

The perfect Spring color palette in one wall. This cropped cable-knit cardigan would look so cute over a simple white slip dress or with a tank and patterned maxi skirt.

I love the shape of this purse. If you’re not one to carry a lot of junk with you, it could easily be an everyday bag.

Typically a gold hoops girl for every day, but these could be mixed in as a chic alternative.
